What are Clozd email invitations?

Successful win-loss analysis is dependent on your opportunity owners providing feedback about each closed opportunity. To encourage their participation, Clozd provides various “form delivery” methods that can be used to invite them to give feedback about a recently closed opportunity.

The most popular method of form delivery is to use Clozd’s email invitations. This unique, built-in feature sends daily email invitations to opportunity owners who need to provide feedback about recently closed opportunities. The email body includes a list of opportunities, specific to that user, that do not have feedback yet. Each listed opportunity in the email body links to the related feedback form within Salesforce.

How do I enable Clozd email invitations?

Email invitations can be enabled under the Setup tab of the Clozd app for Salesforce. Once enabled, the system will begin sending email invitations the next business day.

When do opportunity owners receive email invitations?

Invitation emails are sent to opportunity owners on each business day at approximately 8:00 AM Pacific Time. The time of delivery is NOT configurable at this time.

Please note that when email invitations are first enabled, opportunity owners will ONLY receive email invitations regarding opportunities that have been closed since the date of installation of the Clozd app. Opportunities that were closed before the date of installation will be ignored. Going forward they will ONLY receive email invitations if they have outstanding closed opportunities that need feedback.

If an opportunity owner ignores the email and/or neglects to provide feedback about one or more of their closed opportunities, he or she will continue to receive email invitations every business day morning until they have provided feedback for every closed opportunity. The body of the email will be updated each day to reflect all opportunities that need feedback.

Why haven’t our opportunity owners received any email invitations?

The most likely reason that opportunity owners would not be receiving email invitations is that the setting is disabled. To enable email invitations, go to the “Email Invitations” section of the Setup tab in the Clozd app.

If the problem still persists, have some of your opportunity owners check their spam folders to see if the invitations are being filtered as spam. If so, have them mark the emails as safe and work with your IT department to whitelist the emails. Please note that the email invitations are generated and sent by the Salesforce.com system.

Can we phase out old opportunities from the invitation email?

Yes. Within the Clozd app setup under the “Email Invitations” section, you can specify the email invitation window, or the number of days Clozd will request feedback from opportunity owners after the opportunity is closed.
