Permission Sets & Licensing

How do we grant Clozd access to our Salesforce users?

To grant Clozd access to a Salesforce user, you will need to (a) assign a license to the user and (b) grant the relevant permission set to the user based on the way they will be using the app. Both of these actions must be taken by your Salesforce Admin within Salesforce (not within the Clozd app).

Without an assigned license and permission set, users won’t be able to view or interact with any Clozd pages or functions.

How do we assign licenses?

Because Clozd is priced per user, you will have to specify which users will have a license to use the application. Please refer to Salesforce’s documentation for managing licenses for installed packages by clicking here.

How do we assign permission sets?

Clozd makes it easy to assign permission sets. After assigning licenses to your users, navigate to the setup tab within the Clozd app. Here, we provide a list of licensed users and let you grant permission sets.

The Clozd managed package provides three permission sets. Decide which permission set is appropriate for each user based on whether they need to (a) provide feedback about closed opportunities, (b) view dashboards, or (c) adjust app settings.

The three permission sets that can be granted to users include:

Sales Rep
Use this for your opportunity owners who will only be providing feedback through the win-loss feedback form for closed opportunities. This permission set provides limited privileges by only allowing the user to view/edit the win-loss feedback forms for closed opportunities.

Report Viewer
Use this for your CEO, sales leaders, and other stakeholders who need to view Clozd dashboards but who will not be configuring app settings. Report viewers will be able to view Clozd dashboards and opportunity owner feedback.

Full Access
This permission set grants the user all privileges within the app, including the ability to access Clozd dashboards, configure app settings, and view/edit the win-loss feedback forms for closed opportunities.

How do we revoke permission sets?

Salesforce will allow Clozd to grant permissions within the app; however, revoking permissions is not allowed in a third-party app. To revoke permissions, you will need to manage permission sets within Setup of your Salesforce org.
